Social No More

We are a 501c3 (nonprofit) dedicated to raising awareness of the harmful effects social media has on minors, with the aim to educate and empower families to take control of their children's.

The Crisis
The Crisis
Suicidal Thoughts and Behavior

One of the most tragic outcome of unchecked social media use is the rising rates of suicidal thoughts and actions among teens. As they struggle with social pressures, bullying, and feelings of worthlessness exacerbated by online interactions, some see no way out.

Cyberbullying and Emotional Harm

The anonymity and reach of social media have made bullying more pervasive and destructive. What was once confined to the schoolyard now follows children home, affecting their mental health 24/7. Cyberbullying can be relentless, with attacks on self-esteem, appearance, or social status.

Social Media
Addiction

Platforms are designed to be addictive, keeping users engaged for as long as possible through constant notifications, endless scrolling, and the pursuit of likes and validation. For minors, this can lead to compulsive use, taking away valuable time from real-world activities, learning.

About Us

Why We Created Social No More

Social No More was founded in response to a growing crisis: the harmful effects of social media on minors. As parents and caregivers, we witnessed firsthand how children were becoming increasingly consumed by their screens. What once provided a platform for connection has evolved into a tool that fosters addiction, anxiety, and depression among young people. The days of imaginative play and outdoor activities have been replaced by endless scrolling, likes, and notifications.

Breaking the Cycle of Addiction

Algorithms are designed to keep kids hooked, creating a cycle of dependency on likes, comments, and notifications. Social No More aims to break this cycle by providing families with the resources and support to help their children disengage from harmful digital habits.
