Why We Created Social No More

Social No More was founded in response to a growing crisis: the harmful effects of social media on minors. As parents and caregivers, we witnessed firsthand how children were becoming increasingly consumed by their screens. What once provided a platform for connection has evolved into a tool that fosters addiction, anxiety, and depression among young people. The days of imaginative play and outdoor activities have been replaced by endless scrolling, likes, and notifications.

We created Social No More because we recognized that this isn’t just a personal challenge—it’s a widespread issue affecting families everywhere. Children are particularly vulnerable to the addictive design of social media platforms, driven by algorithms that keep them engaged for hours at a time. This constant online presence is leading to serious mental health issues, including social isolation, low self-esteem, and even rising rates of suicide among minors.

About Us

About Us

Our mission is to raise awareness of these dangers and offer real solutions. By educating families and communities, advocating for policy changes, and promoting healthier, more balanced technology use, we aim to protect the well-being of the next generation. Social No More is committed to helping families regain control of their children’s digital lives and creating a safer future where technology serves rather than harms our youth.

Our Mission

Our Mission

Protecting Our Children’s Future

At Social No More, our mission is to raise awareness about the harmful effects social media has on minors and to protect their mental health in today’s digital world. We aim to empower families, educators, and communities to promote healthier, more balanced relationships with technology.

We seek to achieve this by:

1. Educating Families and Communities
We provide the tools and knowledge needed to understand the risks of social media, such as addiction, anxiety, depression, and suicide, helping families make informed choices.

2. Advocating for Change
We work with policymakers and mental health professionals to push for stronger protections and regulations that prioritize the well-being of minors over the interests of tech companies.

3. Promoting Healthy Tech Use
Our programs encourage responsible tech habits, helping young people create boundaries that reduce dependency and foster more meaningful, offline interactions.

4 Supporting Mental Health
We offer resources to identify and address social media-related mental health issues, working to reduce stigma and encourage early intervention.

Our goal is to build a safer digital future, where technology enhances well-being rather than harms it. Together, we can protect the next generation from the dangers of social media.
